This job offers you the opportunity to make a difference in someone's life by providing assistance and relief to a primary caregiver and by working on skills to grow our clients independence.
We are seeking a dedicated living skills provider to services for clients throughout Jefferson county. Your duties will include scheduling services with primary family caregivers/parents, providing companionship, and organizing and supervising/assisting with activities that are specific to targeting the clients goals.
To ensure success as a living skills provider, you should demonstrate experience in a similar role. Ultimately, a top-notch provider will be someone who can be relied upon to perform their duties with patience and compassion.
Respite Worker Responsibilities:
Providing assistance, companionship, and comfort. Engaging clients in suitable activities to meet there goals such as social skills, money management, improving independence with hygiene and more! Some clients may need hands on assistance with mobility, personal hygiene, eating, and drinking.
