Responsible for preparing specific food items as required. May assist in serving meals. Assists with maintaining high standards of sanitation and safety in handling foods, equipment and supplies.Essential DutiesAssist Cook on meal line as needed and/or with grill items.Assists wait staff in dining room as needed.Responsible for preparing and distributing snacks and/or nourishments.Assists with receiving and storage of deliveries.Assists with clean-up duties as needed.Maintain proper rotation of items from salad bar and refrigerators.Ensure items are labeled and dated.Follows standardized recipes.Other duties as assigned.$16/HourQualificationsBasic Qualifications & ExperienceHigh School Diploma or equivalent.Must be able to read, write and speak the English language.Must possess excellent customer service skillsAt least three months experience in quantity food preparation in a health care facility or hospitability industry preferred.Working Conditions / Physical Requirements Moderate physical activity required by handling objects up to 50 pounds occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds frequently.Stands, bends and moves continuously during working hours.May be exposed to hazardous chemicals.Is subject to frequent interruptions.May interact with residents, family members, and visitors.Additional InformationIf you are considering a position at Christian Living Communities | Cappella Living Solutions, we have a wide range of benefits to consider!
