Overview: We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Direct Care Workers. As a Direct Care Worker, you will provide essential support and care to individuals in need. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others. Duties: - Assist with daily activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, and medication reminders - Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals - Implement care plans and ensure individual needs are met - Monitor and report any changes in behavior or health status - Assist with mobility and transfers as needed - Maintain a safe and clean environment for individuals - Document daily activities and progress notes Skills: - Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with individuals, families, and healthcare professionals - Conflict management skills to handle challenging situations with empathy and professionalism - Knowledge of social work principles and practices to provide appropriate support - Experience in patient care, including assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) - Familiarity with dementia care techniques and strategies - Understanding of HIPAA regulations to maintain confidentiality of individual information - Direct support and caregiving experience preferred - Ability to follow care plans and adapt to individual needs We offer competitive pay rates and flexible scheduling options.
