The Assistant Store Manager will handle personally or take responsibility for the following:
- Supervise staff and employees to ensure daily assignments are being completed.
- Monitor incoming inventory to prep the store for staging.
- Stage inventory to display uniformity throughout the store.
- Stock, rotate, maintain, and display inventory for the stores.
- Schedule deliveries of sold inventory.
- Assign duties as needed to complete daily operations per policy and procedures.
- Maintain all store merchandising and pricing standards.
- Track high-dollar inventory to safeguard against theft.
- Give direction and supervision to staff and volunteers.
- Uphold safe work practices to assure the safety of staff, volunteers, and customers.
- Submits incident reports and provides reports to management on all staff, volunteers, sites, and customers.
- Maintain equipment and have the Director of Operations Assistant order supplies when needed.
- Extend excellent customer service and be a positive public image for The Community Storehouse.
- Assure that daily cash balance is within $1 of cash register tape.
- Assure bank deposits and change bags are delivered and picked up on a daily basis.
- All other tasks are assigned by the Regional Store Manager and Director of Operations and Resale.
