Christian Cable Group is Hiring an Office Manager - Austin Near Manor, TX

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive individual to join our team as an Office Manager for our Austin location. As the Office Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our office, overseeing various administrative tasks, and acting as a liaison for the company in the region. Responsibilities:

  • Day-to-Day Operations: Manage various operational tasks such as purchasing, receiving, pre-palletization process, invoicing jobs, and inventory management. Ensure efficient and accurate execution of these tasks to support smooth operations.
  • Permitting: Handle permitting processes for jobs located south of Waco, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and timely approvals.
  • Change Orders: Review change requests, evaluate their impact, and create change orders accordingly. Maintain clear documentation of changes to ensure transparency and effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Communication and Coordination: Maintain regular communication with General Contractors (GCs) and Project Managers (PMs) to provide updates and status reports on ongoing jobs. Act as a reliable point of contact and company representative for the region.
  • Administrative Support: Assist PMs with administrative tasks as needed, providing efficient and effective support to ensure smooth project execution.
  • HR for Austin: Take on HR responsibilities for the Austin office, including recruiting and interviewing potential employees. Play an integral role in building a talented and cohesive team.
  • Inspections: Schedule inspections and upload reports promptly to ensure compliance and project progress tracking.
  • Submittals: Manage the submittal process, ensuring timely submission of required documents and coordination with relevant stakeholders.
  • Closeouts: Facilitate project closeout processes, ensuring all necessary documentation and approvals are obtained and properly recorded.
  • Miscellaneous Tasks: Handle various miscellaneous tasks, such as ordering supplies, making store runs, scheduling deliveries, and maintaining a clean office environment.

Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in administrative and operational tasks, including purchasing, inventory management, and invoicing.
  • Experience with permitting processes and change order management is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with HR responsibilities, including recruitment and interviewing, is a plus.
  • Knowledge of inspection procedures and submittal processes is advantageous.
  • Proficient in using relevant software and tools for data management and documentation.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
