• Inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, replacing, and testing fire alarm equipment.
• Installing, troubleshooting, repairing, replacing, and testing security alarm systems.
• Installing, troubleshooting, repairing, replacing access control systems.
• Installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and replacing analog/digital cameras and associated recording equipment for CCTV systems.
• Installing, repairing, and replacing voice, data, and audio equipment. (Patch panels, routers, amplifiers, etc.)

Additional Responsibilities:

• Mentoring and training Fire and Security Low Voltage Service Technicians.
• Assisting with the installation of new equipment to support our business development teams as required.
• Documenting job progression through our existing service portal.
• Communicating and prioritizing workload with managers and peers.

License Requirements:

• Valid Texas Driver License.
• Texas Fire Alarm Technician (FAL) License.
• Texas Security Alarm License (SAL).

Job Qualifications:

• Understanding of NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) standards.
• NICET (National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies) Certifications are highly favorable.
• Two years of experience with a Texas FAL license (or equivalent) in the fire alarm industry, or less than two years of experience with a Texas FAL license but five or more years of experience within the fire alarm industry.
• Two years of access control experience with a Texas SAL license (or equivalent).
• Ability to pass a post-offer drug test, background investigation, and reference verification.
