Our Risk Management Services Division has a full-time opening for an experienced Underwriter. The role of the Underwriter is to assess property and casualty risks to determine appropriate costs, terms, and parameters to insure the risk, review and analyze risk characteristics on insurance applications and change requests, and assist Director of Underwriting in new business development for the Risk Pooling Trust and Student Accident Plans. The Underwriter also utilizes underwriting guidelines, rules, standards, and levels of authority to accept, reject, or mitigate risk for applications and determine appropriate premiums, limits,
and coverages.
