Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Service Writer to join our team. The Service Writer will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our automotive service department by coordinating service appointments, communicating with customers, and providing exceptional customer service.

Duties:
- Schedule service appointments and manage the service department's workflow
- Communicate with customers regarding their vehicle's maintenance and repair needs
- Provide estimates for services and repairs, ensuring accuracy and transparency
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of work
- Maintain customer records and update service history in the system
- Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally

Requirements:
- Prior experience in automotive service or repair industry is preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge to effectively communicate with technicians and customers
- Familiarity with vehicle maintenance services such as oil changes, shocks struts, alignments, etc.
- Knowledge of auto estimating and dealership procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
