Christ's Church of the Valley is Hiring a Kids Pastor / Chandler Near Chandler, AZ
- Build a CCV Kids ministry team
- Recruit people through the vision of CCV Kids
- Ensure leaders and rooms are set up and ready to serve on the weekends
- Help ensure the overall operations of the weekend is meeting all expectations
- Oversee volunteer onboarding and training, including appropriate placement of volunteers
- Maintain a positive CCV Kids environment to establish excellence in the ministry
- Communicate daily with the Lead Kids Pastor
- Work with the Lead Kids Pastor to help reach all listed goals required
- Lead day-to-day operations of the ministry
- Execute CCV Kids programs and curriculums, systems and processes, along with policies and procedures related to volunteerism, partnering with parents, and Next Steps for families through the ministries of CCV
- Facilitate ongoing training and coaching for volunteers
- Exemplify a high level of passion about sharing our CCV Kids vision with our community
- A passion for reaching the lost
- Personal integrity in all areas of life
- Must be – or willing to become – a participating member of CCV
- Attends worship with their family on a consistent basis
- Tithes, serves, and participates in a CCV group on a regular basis
- Customer Focus – is dedicated to meeting the expectations of internal and external customers.
- Interpersonal Skills – relates well to all kinds of people and builds effective relationships, communicates effectively both interpersonally and corporately.
- Self-Development – Committed to improvement, seeks constructive criticism, understands strengths and weaknesses.

- Administrative Skills – can sustain an organized process, prioritize and multi-task effectively while sustaining a high level of attention to detail.
- Adaptability – can quickly respond to changes and ensure that necessary resources will be available to meet demands.
- A degree, training in a related field, or ministry proven experience preferred
- Experience working with youth and volunteers preferred
- Working knowledge of the business of the church and procedures is helpful
- Skilled in using a database for volunteer information, recruiting, and attendance is a plus (i.e. Rock)
