JOB SUMMARY:

The Benefits & Payroll Specialist at Christ Fellowship has a primary focus of HR systems, payroll, and benefits administration. This role serves our staff by ensuring all HR systems have accurate and up-to-date employment and payroll information. This position reports to the HR Systems Administrator and provides exceptional human resources service to more than 500 staff members across multiple campus locations. 

JOB DUTIES:

• Gathers, prepares and inputs employee and payroll data to produce accurate and timely payroll runs 
• Maintains accurate and up-to-date org chart, employee files and employee data in HR systems
• Oversees automated employment verification program
• Files and manages workers' compensation claims
• Performs monthly and yearly audits of insurance plans, ACA, and EEOC 
• Provides payroll and benefits training to new hires
• Administers payroll-related benefits such as Flex Spending Accounts, Health Savings Accounts, COBRA, FMLA, Disability, and more
• Health Benefits administration and partners with Insurance Broker

EDUCATION:

Associates Degree

RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE:

1-3 years of relevant work experience
