Description

The Middle School Associate role will be responsible for direct engagement with students and organizational leadership implementation within Middle School. This person will be expected to model excellence in personal health and development, direct ministry with students, leadership, and administrative responsibilities in ministry. This is a full-time position and reports to the Students Director.

Responsibilities: 

Personal Development and Health

• Personal pursuit of spiritual, emotional, intellectual, physical, and social growth/health.
• Completion of CCC Staff Theological Training. 
• Model all values and motives of CCC and of Students. 

Direct Ministry with Students

• Modeling excellence in intentionality and faithfulness in student contact and personal invitations for students to take next steps considering Jesus and growing in their faith.
• Modeling the value of engaging relationally with students (especially in their turf) for the purpose of both outreach and discipleship. 
• Modeling the value of engaging relationally with students who are already connected with our church/ministry as well as those who are not yet.

Organizational Leadership of Ministry Area

• Implement Students ministry vision and strategy within Middle School. 
• Effectively lead the recruiting, training, development, deployment, oversight, and support of leaders to sustain and provide opportunity for ministry impact to grow. 
• Implement and execute programming within Middle School ministry. 
• Support teaching and content delivery within their delegated area of responsibility. 

Administrative Excellence

• Complete all assigned administrative tasks on behalf of the ministry area.
• Oversee execution of necessary ministry area communications.

Other

• Engage with and support parents in the discipleship of their students. 
• Engage with all expected Students and College events and initiatives. 

Requirements

Qualifications: 

• Be in an authentic and growing relationship with Jesus Christ and desire to grow theologically.
• Love of being with students – (both non-Christian/unchurched and Christian).
• Minimum of 1 year experience in direct ministry (preferably with students). 
• Proven relational skills with both students and adults.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Moral and spiritual integrity and character in all areas of walk and life.
• Willingness to engage with students during evenings 2-3 times a week through student contact or programming.
• Committed to the mission and vision of Christ Community Chapel.
