Join us as our new Production Operator

Under the direction of the Production Lead, the Production Operator is responsible for all activities related to operating production equipment per the instructions. Also, responsible for adhering to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Standard Work (WIs) Instructions and Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) that are in effect assuring the quality and quantity of product produced.

In this role you'll make an impact by:

  • Performing all job requirements in a safe manner using the required PPE.
  • Reporting and addressing unsafe behaviors or equipment to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and housekeeping of work area.
  • DemonstratingLock-Out/Tag-Out compliance.
  • Following GMPs and Food Safety compliance to ensure quality products produced are safe to consume.
  • Participatingand executingsanitation duties to ensure sanitary production areas are maintained in accordance with our GMP's.
  • Recording operational and production data legibly, accurately and error free on specified forms.
  • Escalatingdowntime when support is needed.
  • Maintaining apositive pro-company can-do attitude.
  • Operatingequipment within the assigned area and meet production and quality targets daily.
  • Weighing and/or counting product accurately.
  • Accurately checking in and out materials.
  • CompletingDisassembly, Cleaning, Reassembly (DCRs) safely and efficiently.
  • Following SOPs and WIs.
  • Maintaining 5S.
  • Accurately printinglabels.
  • Complete all training on time
  • Training others as assigned.
  • Participatingin Continuous Improvement Projects.
  • Other duties as assigned.

To succeed you must hold:

  • High School Diploma along with 1 year of relevant work experience in a food or dietary supplement manufacturing facility.
  • Be able to work within established routines, methods and procedures under very strict management parameters.
  • Ability to work effectively as a team player in a diverse work group.
  • Personal responsibility for following safety rules, SOPs and cGMP guidelines.
  • Complies with company policies and procedures, maintains regular work attendance.
  • Other duties as required.
