Position Overview:
As the Maintenance Manager for our property management company, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of maintenance activities across our properties. The role requires a candidate with a strong background in property maintenance, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to lead a team in delivering high-quality services to property owners and residents. Computer skills are extremely important to effectively utilize property management software, analyze data, and streamline communication.
Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the maintenance and repair of residential and/or commercial properties, ensuring they meet the highest standards of safety and aesthetics.
• Develop and implement comprehensive preventive maintenance plans to extend the lifespan of property assets.
• Liaise with property owners and tenants to address maintenance requests, concerns, and inquiries promptly.
• Maintain positive relationships with tenants and property owners to foster a sense of community and trust.
• Lead, mentor, and train a team of maintenance technicians, ensuring they are well-equipped to handle routine maintenance tasks and emergency repairs.
• Participate in performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to enhance team efficiency.
• Collaborate with external contractors, suppliers, and service providers to obtain competitive bids for maintenance projects.
• Oversee the work of contractors to ensure compliance with quality standards and timelines.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising service quality.
• Stay current on local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards, ensuring properties are compliant at all times.
• Implement safety protocols and measures to create secure living and working environments.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in property maintenance management, preferably in a property management or real estate environment.
• Must have reliable transportation
• In-depth knowledge of building systems, codes, and regulations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in property management software, Microsoft Office Suite, and the ability to analyze and interpret data.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt to changing priorities.
