JOB TITLE: Registered Nurse Coordinator

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-time, 40 hours/week

SCHEDULED HOURS: Monday-Friday 6am-2pm

PROGRAM/LOCATION: Pathways OTP, Putnam CT

ABOUT THE PROGRAM: Multi-Dimensional Family Therapy 

Pathways is an accredited Opiate Treatment Program that provides MAT (primarily methadone), individual therapy, group counseling, psycho-educational groups, individualized treatment planning, recovery coaching, and ongoing assessment and referrals.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  •  Recruit, hire, and train nurses and medical assistant staff for OTP treatment.
  •  Create and implement policies and procedures for nursing and medical assistant procedures, including dispensing, diversion control, toxicology and phlebotomy, internal and external medical records.
  •  Create, monitor, and train staff on protocols for managing the delivery, stocking, security, and ordering of medications for Opioid Use Disorder.
  •  Coordinate medical treatment with including dose changes, inductions, and referrals.
  •  Monitor performance of nursing and medical assistant staff, including performance evaluations, performance improvement plans, and progressive discipline.
  •  Coordinate client care with Medical Practitioners (APRN, MD), including referrals, medical records, monitoring client withdrawal, response to medications, and vital signs.
  •  Maintain nursing staffing schedules to ensure dosing services are not interrupted.
  •  Work closely with Clinical Program Director, including providing supervision and consultation in treatment team meetings.
  •  Ensure program services are in compliance with state and federal regulations.
  •  Other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Nursing education sufficient to receive licensure in CT.

Experience: Experience in Opioid Treatment Program.

Licensure/Certification/Registration:  Current RN license in the State of Connecticut required, Certification in CPR, and must have a valid driver’s license.

COMPENSATION RANGE*:

$73,261/yr min - $109,892/yr max, dependent upon experience. 

*Actual rates are determined at the time of offer and are based on relevant experience, as well as, adherence to our internal equity policy. Many of our positions offer program/location differentials and/or sign-on incentives. (Please note, for part-time positions this range would be pro-rated based on hours worked)
