A client of our firm is a Global Music Entertainment Firm that just opened a newly created role due to growth seeking an Analyst - FP&A. This role will report to a Team Lead working on their Music Team. They have global operations with this roles responsibilities including Corporate Finance, FP&A, and Finance Initiatives.

Responsibilities included but not limited to:

• Maintain detailed models (revenue and P&L) for financial forecasting, budgeting, and analysis
• Analyze financial data by comparing and analyzing budgets and forecasts with actual results
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual variance analysis to compare actual financial performance against forecasts and budgets.
• Assist in preparing monthly financial reporting packages for purposes of Management review.
• Create and prepare various ad-hoc reports and projects for management as needed.
• Work closely with other departments to gather inputs for financial models and to ensure alignment with overall company objectives and strategies.
• Identify, develop and implement process changes in order to increase efficiency of our processes and the accuracy of financial records.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance or Economics is Required; Master's is a Plus
• At least 2 years of FP&A experience, ideally focused on Music, Entertainment, or Media
• Strong Excel Experience including Financial Modeling and Analysis
• Must have strong Excel skills, including knowledge of pivot tables and advanced formulas (SUMIFS, INDEX/MATCH, etc.)
