Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patients' conditions
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care measures
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Assist with family planning services and provide health coaching to patients
- Coordinate with durable medical equipment (DME) providers for patient needs
Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas
- Experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably in home health
- Proficient in medical terminology and understanding of medical records
- Strong knowledge of IV infusion care and procedures
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with other healthcare professionals
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
