Job Title: Warehouse Selector (Temp to Perm)

Shift: Sunday-Friday (off Saturday and one day during the week) 5:30pm-until work is done (about 9-10 hours roughly). .

Pay Rate: Up to $18.00/hr (temporarily), potential to earn up to $27/hr based on incentive pay/performance upon full-time hire.

Overview:
Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse Selector in a traditional warehouse setting. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for efficiently selecting products, operating electric pallet jacks, and potentially stand-up reach trucks. This position offers the opportunity for growth into a full-time role with competitive pay and benefits.

Requirements:

• Experience in a traditional warehouse setting with the ability to work on feet for 10-12 hours per day and good spatial awareness.
• Ability to pick 100-140 items per hour, with proficiency expected to increase to 80-100 pieces per hour after 4 weeks and at or above 100 after 6 weeks.
• Experience operating electric pallet jacks (required) and stand-up reach trucks (preferred).
• Comfortable working in a cold/wet environment and providing own PPE for the cold.
• Proof of a good attendance record with a minimum of 6 months at all previous employers over the past 2 years.
• Minimum 6 months of selecting experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs individually.

Responsibilities:

• Operate electric pallet jack and potentially stand-up reach truck to select products from warehouse racking.
• Label products using SOS label technology and palletize product as selected to build customer orders.
• Deliver product to the dock in a safe and efficient manner.
• Hand select orders within various warehouse environments of fluctuating temperatures.
• Stack product on pallets according to proper selecting procedures.
• Stage pallets for loading on proper dock locations and stretch-wrap product on loading dock.
• Safely operate all assigned equipment and perform pre and post-trip inspections.

Basic Requirements:

• Must be over the age of 18.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Adequate physical fitness to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
