Packaging Associate

Summary

A Packaging Associate will be responsible for working with a team each day to achieve department goals. Ensuring they are abiding by all operational procedures and company standards. As well as reporting to their corresponding Shift Supervisors, Shift Leads, and Team Leads at the beginning, end, and throughout the shift.

Responsibilities Include:

● Working with a team each day to achieve department goals.

● Ensuring they are abiding by all operational procedures and company standards.

● Reporting to their corresponding Shift Supervisors, Shift Leads, and Team Leads at the beginning, end, and throughout the shift.

● Inspect all products for quality assurance during each stage of the packaging procedure.

● Ensuring proper placement of all products informational / compliance stickers.

● Ensuring product is handled and cased properly during each step of the packaging process.

● Identifying, and notifying leadership with quality and compliance issues/concerns.

● Maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant work environment

● Maintaining a positive and constructive attitude/demeanor when addressing or interacting with others.

Shift: Monday-Friday 2:30pm-11:00pm

Required Skills and Abilities:

· Must be 21 or over (required by law).

· Must have a year of production or manufacturing experience.

· Must be observant and detail oriented.

· Must have strong multi-tasking, organizational, and time management skills.

· Must have reliable transportation, good attendance, and be on time ready to work.

· Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with team members and leadership.

· Ability to work independently or with a team with guidance and supervision.

· Ability to maintain a steady pace working in a manufacturing environment involving bending, kneeling, lifting, repetitive use of hands and fingers and other positions up to 12 hours per day.

Education and Experience:

● Must have a High School Diploma or GED

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
