Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Front Desk Manager to join our team. As the Front Desk Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all front desk operations and ensuring exceptional guest service. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong leadership abilities, and a passion for hospitality.
Duties:
- Manage and supervise front desk staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
- Ensure smooth check-in and check-out processes for guests
- Handle guest complaints or issues in a professional and timely manner
- Maintain accurate records of guest information and reservations
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments to ensure guest satisfaction
- Implement and enforce hotel policies and procedures
- Monitor front desk operations to ensure efficiency and productivity
- Assist with administrative tasks such as managing reservations, answering phone calls, and responding to emails
- Collaborate with other departments to provide exceptional guest experiences
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Proficient in using phone systems and other office equipment
- Knowledge of hotel management software systems (e.g., Opera, Fidelio)
- Bilingual/multilingual skills are a plus
- Ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism and composure
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
