Scheduler

POSITION SUMMARY :

The Scheduler is responsible for maintaining the client and caregiver relationship and ultimately helps provide a best in-home care experience for clients and employees.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Schedule shifts by matching caregiver qualifications and availability to clients’ needs
• Notifies participants and families regarding changes in their schedules, tries to notify as soon as information becomes available so as not to inconvenience families and participants.
• Ensures that all referrals are received in an accurate, detailed manner and are properly handled.
• Identify and address scheduling issues for clients & caregivers (i.e. call offs, no shows etc.)
• Work under time pressure and manage multiple demands simultaneously
• Provide Customer service / communication to clients & caregivers
• Proper documentation
• Communicate with On-Call schedulers
• Adheres to best practices
• Attend Weekly Staff meeting and orientations

QUALIFICATIONS :

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Demonstrates an ability to work with other health care clinicians.
• Self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrate excellent observation verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a team environment.
