*This position is on the road going to patient homes. This is NOT a Hybrid position*

The Doctor’s Choice Home Health Services is currently seeking experienced and dedicated Registered Nurses to join our Home Health team  for our Orange Office. They will be able to make visits within (10-30 miles distance) from their home to patient’s place of residence, in order to provide skilled care services as ordered by referring physician. We have coverage across all of Orange County ranging from Buena Park down to San Clemente!

We are looking for a Registered Nurse who would be available to accept cases at least 3-4 days a week while utilizing the per diem status where you can choose your patient load, how to schedule your day, and what cities you can see patients!

Per Diem Employee Status – You have the flexibility to create your own schedule by providing your available days and areas of coverage. You choose which patients you can accept and get to plan your schedule for the day. Once a patient is accepted on your end, it is your responsibility to see that patient.

• Orange County Areas Include:
  • Anaheim, Fullerton, Orange, Buena Park, Brea, Yorba Linda, La Habra, Placentia, Villa Park, Cypress, La Palma
  • Irvine, Laguna Beach, Newport Beach, Mission Viejo, San Clemente, Dana Point, Laguna Niguel, Aliso Viejo, Rancho Santa Margarita, Lake Forest, San Juan Capistrano

Minimum Requirements include:

• Must have minimum 1 year with a CA license in nursing as an RN
• At least 1 year of Home Health Experience as an RN (highly preferred)
• Must be open to work at least 3-4 days out of the week (Monday through Sunday)
• Experience in EMR software (preferably Kantime, but training can be provided)
• Provide skilled nursing services/interventions in accordance with physician orders
• Assesses patient needs, plans for, evaluates and modifies care to meet goals of skilled nursing interventions.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals for each patient.
• IV Experience/ IV insertion (preferred)
• Acute Care experience (preferred)
• Wound Vac experience (preferred)

Required Licenses and Certifications:

• RN License in CA
• Current CPR certification
• Valid Driver’s License and Auto Insurance
• Physical/TB from the last 6 months or sooner
