This is a great part-time opportunity to join a small clinic in Kearney. We are a non-profit family planning and reproductive health clinic that serves people from low-income families. We are looking for a dependable, dedicated, friendly people person to assist our patients at the front desk and on the phone.
Great Part-Time Hours: Monday, Tuesday & Thursday (8:30am-5pm; 1hr lunch)
Duties (examples)
-Greet patients, answer phones and make appointments
-Assist healthcare professionals in providing patient care and treatment
-Maintain clinic organization and cleanliness
-Assist in exam rooms and dispense/administer medications
-Handle money, balance drawer, make deposits
-Ability and means to travel to assist at the Grand Island location as needed
-Other duties as assigned
Experience:
- Previous experience in a clinical setting preferred but not required
- Experience with administrative support tasks, office equipment and Microsoft Office products preferred
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
-Minimum 19 years of age ; valid drivers license
-Must have or obtain Nebraska registration as medication aide once hired. No worries, we can provide the training if needed!
Skills:
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written; great customer service
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively with others and is reliable
- Proficiency in using computers and office equipment
