Job Summary:

Join a growing Berthoud-based basement finishing and remodeling company! Choice City Home Services is seeking a residential pre-construction design assistant. Our aim is to be Northern Colorado’s obvious choice for basement finishes. We desire to set new industry standards for residential remodeling through outstanding customer service, excellent systems, communication, and by having the industry’s most capable team.

Duties:

- Assist sales in development of floorplans and design features.

- Work with customers to finalize the details of their remodel such as helping select colors, faucets, trim, flooring, etc.

- Build lists of all selections, purchase locations, purchase dates, etc.

- Work with pre construction and project manager to purchase and order, arrange delivery of items.

- Build/ modify spreadsheets to assist in these and other processes.

- Submit necessary paperwork for permits.

- Ensure proper licenses and sub-contractor paperwork is completed.

- Assist in budgeting and cost estimation for projects.

- Co-ordinate details with sub-contractors.

- Assist in design process in homes with pre-construction and sales.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in remodeling and design or a related field is preferred but not required.

- Proficiency in Excel, computer and phone applications, as well as online CRM Software.

- Experience in Sketchup, Autocad or similar not required but willing to learn.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately interpret architectural drawings.

- Basic knowledge of budgeting principles and cost estimation techniques.

- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced construction environment.

- Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
