Job Summary
Costpoint Principal Consultant will oversee and lead Costpoint GovCon functionality and setup, ensure data integrity, provide user support and training, and drive continuous improvements to enhance operational efficiency across all Deltek systems.

- $120,000-$175,000/year

Duties/Responsibilities
- Manage the global Deltek account under supervision and direction of Executive Leadership Team (ELT).
- Oversee completion of conversion from legacy system(s) data to Costpoint throughout implementation sprints.
- Lead the management and restructuring of existing data for normalization.
- Apply advanced accounting and technical skills to perform tasks within Costpoint and Business Intelligence (BI).
- Collaborate internally with the Accounting Group, Project Management Organization (PMO), Business Development (BD) Group, and Senior Management Team (SMT) to optimize Deltek configuration including all Costpoint Modules.
- Develop and maintain internal user documentation, guidance, training materials, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for Deltek systems, ensuring effective knowledge transfer and user adoption.
- Train and coach functional users on use and maintenance of Costpoint applications, reports, and tools.
- Produce weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports as required for operational efficiency.
- Lead Costpoint related projects, including scoping projects, creating project plans, and ensuring timely project delivery.
- Perform implementation and accounting related tasks as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities
- Proficient in configuring, administering, and supporting Deltek Costpoint.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills at a senior management level.
- Data based and process centric approach to problem solving with the ability to identify system issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Proficient in data mapping and Costpoint system architecture.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel including pivot tables, macros, add-in, INDEX MATCH, VLOOKUP, CHOOSE, SUMPRODUCT, INDEX, and VBA.
- Expert level understanding of DCAA, FAR and DFAR compliance requirements in support of GAAP compliant accounting practices.
- Expert level understanding of Costpoint data tables and how they impact financial reports.
- Proficient in maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information discreetly.
Education and Experience
- Required: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a closely related field
- Required: Seven (7) years of ERP implementation experience
- Required: Seven (7) years of implementing or managing a Costpoint client account
- Preferred: Deltek Costpoint Certifications
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, etc.
