Curtis Lumber's Operations Specialist is responsible for using specialized equipment/tools and forklifts for purposes of the gathering and staging of specific products and/or materials to safely build loads for customer deliveries. Operations specialist responsibilities require an advanced skill set to support monitoring inventory levels, stocking racks, and prepping for future orders while keeping a safe and clean working area.
- Full Time 40 hours per week
- Work outside year-round
- Ensure that each order is done correctly and in a timely manner.
- Stage loads effectively for safe delivery ensuring loads are properly covered when required.
- Keep open professional communication between supervisor and dispatch.
- Maintain a neat clean working environment as well as monitoring and communicating stock levels.
- Communicate with management about any problems and or complaints that may arise.
- Perform pre trip inspections on forklift daily.
- Inspect and maintain supplies and equipment, to ensure that all are in proper working condition.
- Report any mechanical problems encountered with fork truck and associated equipment.
- Safe and proper use of equipment and associated PPE to be maintained at all times.
- Advanced skill set with specialized equipment/tools
- Advanced product, staging, and loading knowledge
- Must wear PPE
- Paid weekly on Fridays
- Discretionary profit share after one year of employment
