Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing various maintenance duties to ensure the proper functioning and upkeep of our facilities. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently.

Duties:
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and systems to identify any maintenance needs
- Perform repairs and preventive maintenance tasks on machinery, equipment, and systems
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues and provide timely solutions
- Fabricate and weld components as needed
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and inventory
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operation of facilities
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and address any concerns in a timely manner
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field
- Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to read schematics
- Proficient in English (both written and verbal)
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with staff and vendors
- Leadership skills to effectively manage projects and prioritize tasks
- Ability to fabricate and weld components as needed
- Basic electrical knowledge is preferred
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask effectively
