Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handy Man to join our team. As a Handy Man, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the functionality and safety of our facilities. This is a paid position with opportunities for growth and development.
Duties:
- Perform general maintenance tasks such as painting, carpentry, and plumbing repairs
- Repair or replace broken equipment, fixtures, or appliances
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and address them promptly
- Install or assemble furniture, fixtures, and other items as needed
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Handy Man or similar role
- Strong knowledge of various repair and maintenance techniques
- Proficient in using hand and power tools
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good communication skills
Skills:
- Carpentry skills for repairing or building structures
- Plumbing skills for fixing leaks or installing new fixtures
- Electrical knowledge for basic repairs and installations
- Painting skills for touch-ups or larger projects
- Knowledge of HVAC systems for troubleshooting and basic repairs
