Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled Building Maintenance professional to join our team. As a Building Maintenance worker, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of our facilities. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.
Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as repairing plumbing systems, electrical systems, and HVAC systems
- Conduct regular inspections to identify any issues or potential problems
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the building and its surroundings
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or tenants
- Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs or installations
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs
Experience:
To be successful in this role, you should have the following skills and qualifications:
- Previous experience in building maintenance or a related field
- Knowledge of industrial electrician work, including the ability to analyze and troubleshoot electrical systems
- Welding skills for minor repairs or modifications
- Familiarity with high voltage systems and safety procedures
- Proficiency in industrial mechanics, including knowledge of precision measuring instruments and the ability to read schematics
- Strong customer service skills to interact with staff, tenants, and contractors
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Proven ability to perform general industrial maintenance tasks
