Morning Prep Cook is an integral part of the culinary team. They are crucial to ensure the restaurant operates smoothly by preparing ingredients, organizing supplies, and assisting with various tasks to support the culinary team. WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • · Prepare and portion ingredients according to recipe and production specifications.
  • · Assist with vegetable preparation including washing, slicing, dicing, mixing, and mashing.
  • · Prepare salsas and sauces as needed.
  • · Organize and stock kitchen with necessary supplies and ingredients.
  • · Operate equipment including fryers, slicers, dicers, sanitizers, and stoves.
  • · Maintain cleanliness and organization, including equipment and work areas.
  • · Follow proper food safety and sanitation at all times.
  • · Communicate effectively with culinary team and managers for efficient workflow.
  • · Assist with receiving and storing deliveries as needed.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TABLE

  • · Previous experience working as a prep cook or in a similar role is preferred, but not required.
  • · Knowledge of basic knife handling skills and culinary techniques is preferred, but not required.
  • · Ability to work in fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • · Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • · Ability to work with a sense of urgency to meet required preparation time schedules.
  • · Ability to work early morning shifts and weekends as needed.
  • · Reliable and punctual.
  • · Positive attitude and willingness to receive feedback, learn, and be part of a culinary team.
