We are a premier pickleball club featuring a sauna, cold plunge, café and bar.

We are seeking energetic and customer-oriented individuals to join our team as a Barista at Chip’s Pickleball Club. The Barista Member will contribute to creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests by providing exceptional food and beverage service in our cafe area.

The cafe hours are 6 : 00 AM - 2 : 00 PM every day.

Responsibilities :

• Arrive on time every time for each shift you work.
• Assume responsibility of your area of the club and take pride in your work.
• Greet customers warmly and provide friendly and efficient service throughout their visit.
• Take customer orders for food / beverages, ensuring accuracy and attention to special requests or dietary restrictions.
• Prepare and serve a variety of cafe food and drink items, following established recipes and presentation standards.
• Operate cafe equipment such as the espresso machine, coffee makers, TurboChef oven, and others safely and effectively.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization in the cafe and lounge area, including sanitizing surfaces, stocking supplies, and cleaning equipment.
• Process transactions accurately and securely using Toast (our point-of-sale system).
• Monitor inventory levels of food and beverage items and communicate with management to restock as needed.
• Uphold health, safety, and sanitation standards in food handling and preparation, following all relevant guidelines and regulations.
• Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, addressing any questions or concerns and ensuring a positive experience.
• Collaborate with other baristas to coordinate orders and maintain efficient service during peak periods.

Qualifications :

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred.
• Knowledge of cafe operations, including food preparation, beverage service, and customer interactions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on providing great customer service.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
• Availability to work flexible hours (including evenings and weekends.)
• Must love hot, caffeinated beverages
