Seeking (1) one School Safety Officer at Territorial Early Education Center for the 2024-2025 school year. This is a full-time position with benefits. The Chino Valley Unified School District is on a 4-day work week Monday through Thursday.
TITLE: School Safety Officer (SSO) STATE CODE: 023
REPORTS TO: Superintendent & Principal FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt
EXPECTATION FOR ALL EMPLOYEES:
POSITION SUMMARY:
The School Safety Officer will provide support to the instructional process with specific responsibilities for the safety and welfare of students while on school grounds; monitoring personnel and/or visitors; communicating information in response to inquiries; and enforcing the school and District rules and regulations pertaining to student behavior. Patrols and monitors school campus, parking areas, and adjacent areas for unsafe conditions, hazards, illegal acts, suspicious activities, unauthorized persons, or other safety- related conditions or activities. Provide assistance to the administrative staff in dealing with disciplinary issues on campus.
