Summary:
Behavior Technicians provide support to children and families in their homes and the community. Support is provided by providing parent/caregiver training and by carrying out the interventions detailed in the client's plan.

The In-Home Support Services opened in 2019 with the mission of improving the quality of life for youth with cognitive challenges and extraordinary behavioral needs. IHSS provides services to clients in La Crosse, Monroe, Trempealeau, and Vernon Counties.

This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a team of trained behavior professionals working with local families in the community.

Must possess:

• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Time management skills & reliable work ethic
• Ability to work independently
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Must have a reliable vehicle to drive to clients' homes.
• Mileage reimbursement is offered
• Have a creative, fun, and positive attitude!

Job Duties:

• Teach independent living skills, social skills and replacement behaviors.
• Communicate with clients and parents, demonstrating respect, collaboration, compassion, learning and safety.
• Complete proper documentation and tracking.
• Maintaining client confidentiality.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
