 Works to prevent injuries and accidents; follows all procedures relegated to injuries and accidents if one should occur. Reports child injuries and hazards promptly to the Lead Teacher.

 Reports suspected child abuse or neglect to local child protective agency or abuse hotline as mandated by state law.

 Meet/exceed the customer’s (internal and external) expectations by understanding, anticipating and meeting customer needs. Exhibit proactive communication; act and think with customers in mind.

 Friendly, enthusiastic and energetic with customers, co-workers, managers, and visitors. Promote and project a positive company image; treats others with courtesy and respect.

 Provides tutoring assistance to students in the areas of math, science, social studies, history, reading and writing. Tutors students individually and in groups (Homework Club).

 Develops a tutoring plan which fits the individual student’s needs. Adapts plan and tutoring methods to each student.

 Assess and track progress throughout the tutoring session.  Effectively communicates plan and progress with students’ parents/legal guardians. Provides updates regularly.

 Stays up to date and utilizes current tutoring methods and teaching practices.

 Regular, in person attendance at designated company site is required to ensure necessary teamwork, personal interaction, and supervision.

 Performs other related duties as requested by a member of management or Lead Teacher, may be asked to work in other classrooms when needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
