Responsibilities:

• Assist the lead teacher in planning and implementing the daily program for the children.
• Share responsibilities of maintaining a clean and orderly classroom
• Help with meals and snacks. Promote family style meals.
• Maintain the health and safety of all children.
• Create a fun and safe learning environment
• May be required to work in a variety of age groups as needed.

Experience:

• Experience working with young children in a childcare or classroom setting preferred but not required
• Familiarity with behavior management techniques for early childhood education
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and staff members.
• Passion for early childhood education and for creating a supportive learning environment.
• High School/GED required
