Location: 2320 W Burleigh, 53206

FLSA Status: Non-exempt

Earnings: $15.00 per hour, $15.50 if able to drive

This position assists in all aspects of the Goldin Food Pantry and the Goldin FRC program. It is a part-time (approx. 25 hours per week), year-round position. The hours are some Mondays 10:00 a.m.to 3:00 p.m. (with notice), Tuesdays 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Wednesdays 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Thursdays 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., some Fridays 12:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. for community fun nights with notice and on Saturdays 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Main Job Responsibilities

1. If applicable, serve as driver for food donation pick-ups, deliver to COA sites, and assist with loading and unloading of the COA shuttle.
2. Process food donations including documentation, proper storage, and proper inventory rotation.
3. Assist with customer intake, data collection, data entry, record-keeping, etc. to ensure accurate and quantifiable measurement of program goals.
4. Support quality program activities that are inclusive, welcoming, respectful and responsive to the diversity of participants, families and community.

Qualifications

• Preferred:: Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record and minimum age of 23. Must have reliable access to a vehicle on workdays.
• Direct customer service experience preferred.
• Must be computer literate: able to use Word to create, edit and format documents and flyers as well as Excel to enter in and manipulate data
• Effective interpersonal skills to develop strong working relationships
• Patience, positive customer service attitude, and cultural competency
• One year of experience in the field of human services preferred
• The physical requirements are the ability
  1. to sit and stand for long periods of time
  2. to push, pull and carry using arms and legs
  3. to lift and carry at least 50 pounds.
