Childrens Dental Health is Hiring an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant Near Harrisburg, PA

Overview:
This Opportunity includes a $2,500 Sign-On Bonus!

Pay: $27-30/hr

Children's Dental Health is seeking a passionate Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join our close-knit team in providing top-notch dental care to our patients.

As an EFDA, you'll have the chance to showcase your expanded skills and knowledge, assisting our dentist in a variety of procedures, including restorations, extractions, and root canals. You'll take and develop dental X-rays, manage patient records, and provide education on oral hygiene and post-operative care. And, of course, you'll do it all with a friendly and empathetic approach that makes our patients feel at ease.

We want you to bring your passion, skills, and drive to help patients achieve beautiful smiles and better health while creating “wow” experiences at every visit!

Schedule: Monday-Thursday 7:45 am-5:45 pm. Fridays & Saturdays as needed

Location:
Harrisburg, PA
Responsibilities:
  • Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures
  • Perform expanded functions, including restorations, extractions, and root canals
  • Take and develop dental X-rays
  • Manage patient records and maintain accurate documentation
  • Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
  • Provide excellent customer service and patient care
Qualifications:
  • Current licensure as an EFDA
  • Demonstrated desire to work in a pediatric setting
  • Radiology certification
