Pediatric Therapy Technician (PTT)
Scope:
Identify, provide and create opportunities for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
Work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), Occupational Therapist, and Speech Language Pathologist to assist in providing high quality pediatric therapy services for early learners.
Requirements
High School Diploma
Interested in a graduate degree in ABA, OT, SLP, Early Childhood Special Education or other related field (preferred)
Criminal background check
Must be able to obtain and maintain a CPR certification
Understanding of HIPAA and adherence to all policies
Works with integrity and ethically
Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, and spend time on your feet as well as an ability to lift items up to 25 lbs on occasion
Familiarity with the field of Autism Spectrum Disorder and pediatric therapy preferred

Responsibilities
Assist 1:1 and group therapies for clients in a clinic-based and/or community- based setting.
Assist with setup and clean up of activities, toys, and materials
Assist with setup and cleanup of group activities
Assist with ABA data collection and entry to monitor the progress and effectiveness of the individualized treatment plan utilizing data collection software.
Work collaboratively with an intradisciplinary team including ABA, OT and Speech Therapy.
Adhere to all policies and procedures, including, but not limited to, confidentiality and mandated reporting standards as set by Children With Opportunity.
Maintain appropriate social distancing, safety, and enhanced protective hygiene practices both on and off the job. (We provide PPE, caregiver communication tools and practices, and limit exposure through small work groups.)
Communicate clearly and effectively - both orally and written - with clients, families, and colleagues.
Attend meetings, training, and workshops to acquire further knowledge.
