The Staff Chaplain will provide Interfaith pastoral/spiritual care to patients, families, and staff. The Staff Chaplain will work with the team to develop programming, share in service to the organization, and participate as appropriate in Chaplaincy research.
Minimum Education
Master of Divinity degree or equivalent. Four units of Clinical Pastoral Educations (1600 hours). One year of professional chaplaincy work, preferably in a pediatric setting. Board Certified or Board Certified Eligible and working toward certification.
Minimum Work Experience
1 year Four units of Clinical Pastoral Education (1600 hours of training under supervision), preferable by an accredited program of the Association of
Clinical Pastoral Education (acpe.edu) or equivalent in terms of training expectation and objectives, completed satisfactorily. One year experience in pediatric chaplaincy (may be met through a clinical pastoral education residency). (Required)

Understanding of some Developmental Theory and ability to use it in service of clients
Understanding of some Spiritual Assessment Theory and ability to use it in service of clients
