DescriptionThe Sheikh Zayed Institute for Pediatric Surgical Innovation is charged with the vision of making pediatric surgery more precise, less invasive, and pain free. The Joseph E. Robert, Jr., Fellowship is a mentored post-graduate research and professional development experience focused on research translation from bench to bedside developing innovative solutions to optimize the availability of medical devices engineered, evaluated and approved for pediatric populations.
QualificationsMinimum Education
M.S. MS level postgraduates or Doctoral level candidates (e.g. MD, PhD, DSc) preferred. Other candidates will be considered based on experience and qualifications. (Required) Or
Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) (Required) Or
Medical Doctor (M.D.) .
Required Skills/Knowledge
Demonstrated interest in a multi-disciplinary approach to biomedical research (e.g., publications, grants, awards).
Ability to supervise, advice, and train professionals and/or students in area of expertise.
Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards.
Demonstrates knowledge of and complies with legal and ethical standards.
