Overview

This position will be working with Pediatric Cancer Research, focusing on the Hispanic population.

Responsibilities

  • The research assistant will be hired for specific research projects with the purpose of supporting the primary investigator (PI) through recruitment and data collection. This data collection will happen during study visit, primarily through assessments, questionnaires and chart review (both paper and electronic medical record).
  • The individual will be given the necessary training prior to engaging in research activities (see below). The individual will work closely with the PI and research staff to ensure data integrity and accurate data collection.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree and 1-2 years experience with Microsoft Access and Excel preferred, experience with previous data collection through an EMR preferred.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English is required.

Starting Pay

Our pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $18.02/hr, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience.

Remote Work/Work from Home

This position is not eligible work remotely, which means that the person hired will be required to work onsite at one of our Children’s Mercy locations and may not work from home.
