  • Efficiently and accurately schedules surgical cases in the electronic system.
  • Collaborates with appropriate departments verifying the needed resources to schedule surgical, procedural, and diagnostic encounters.
  • Audits documentation in the EHR, reviewing specific fields to assure accurate and complete documentation in required fields.
  • Assists with the maintenance of statistical reports essential to Operating Room/Sedation efficiency.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree BSN preferred or 5-7 years experience Direct care nursing experience in the surgical or sedation arena with specific knowledge regarding surgical or procedural subspecialties. Beginning leadership experience in another field is preferred.
  • One of the following: Licensed RN - Kansas, Registered Nurse Multistate License Kansas required upon hire
  • One of the following: Licensed RN - MO, Registered Nurse Multistate License Missouri required upon hire
  • Refer to Nursing and Advanced Practice Provider Licensure and Certification policy for required Life Support Certifications Required Upon Hire
  • Specialty Certification relevant to unit's patient population (determined by Nurse Manager/Director) Preferred 1 Year
Starting Pay Our pay ranges are market competitive.
