Job Overview:
Children's Lighthouse is seeking a dedicated and experienced Preschool Director to oversee the operations of our established and reputable preschool. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing staff, implementing educational programs, and ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for young children. Bonus opportunities are available throughout the year.
Duties:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance the preschool's educational programs
- Manage day-to-day operations of the preschool, including staff supervision and budgeting
- Oversee curriculum development and ensure compliance with educational standards
- Recruit, train, and evaluate teaching staff to maintain high-quality education
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and community members to support the preschool's mission
- Maintain a safe and clean environment that meets health and safety regulations
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Center Director
- Proven experience in a leadership role within an educational setting
- Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop and manage budgets effectively
- Demonstrated skills in strategic planning and decision-making
