Child Care Director
Overview:
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Child Care Director to join our team. As the Child Care Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our child care facility. This is a leadership role that requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for providing high-quality care and education to children.
Duties:
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the smooth operation of the child care facility
- Hire, train, and supervise child care staff members
- Create and maintain a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children
- Implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities
- Monitor and assess the progress of each child's development
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns
- Maintain accurate records, including attendance, enrollment, and staff certifications
- Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations and accreditation standards including Franchisor's operational guidelines.
- Consistently completes all duties and responsibilities as assigned by the owner in a competent and timely manner
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in large Childcare facilities, with 2 years in Admin role.
- NC Level 3 Administrator credentials.
- Energetic with ability to motivate others, analyze, and solve problems, fostering a positive work environment.
- Mature communication skills (written & verbal) to be able to communicate effectively with parents, staff and other stakeholders.
- Effective leader and role model at the school with professional presentation and positive attitude.
- Adaptable to changing situations with strong ability to multi-task
- Knowledge of Environmental Rating Scales and and requirements for NC 5 Star-rated license.
- Ability to exercise appropriate, independent judgment calls.
- Knowledge of early child development and appropriate practices.
- Ability to ensure safe, loving, learning environment for children.
- Strong staff management skills.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
