Children's Learning Academy is Hiring a Preschool Front Desk /Office Assistant Near Apopka, FL

Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and professional Office Assistant/Front Desk Agent to join our team. As an Office Assistant/Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our families, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience. If you have excellent communication skills, a passion for early education, and have experience in childcare, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

  • Promote an environment committed to health and safety.
  • Greet parents, children, employees with a warm and welcoming demeanor and answer any questions they may have
  • Assist to sign in and sign out children efficiently and accurately
  • Assist the Director with Managing operation of the school.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel and able to overtime when needed.
  • Experience in a preschool/daycare environment is required
  • Must be comfortable working with children of all ages
  • Answering phones and scheduling tours.
  • Build positive relationships with parents and guardians
  • Communicate regularly with families about their child's progress and center activities
  • Prioritize the safety and well-being of children, ensuring adherence to state and federal guidelines.
  • Collaborate with Lead Teachers to keep parents informed about their child's progress and maintain open lines of communication.
  • Address any challenges within the center, offering creative solutions and maintaining a positive atmosphere.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: CDA is required. Associate Degree or bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience: Possess extensive experience in a childcare setting, including leadership roles. Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles is essential.
  • State Compliance: Comply with state/DCF requirements and regulations.
  • Communication Skills: Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration with staff and parents.
  • Administrative Skills: Proficiency in administrative tasks, including record-keeping, scheduling, and center management.
  • Physical Resilience: Be physically capable of performing essential job functions, including lifting, standing for extended periods, and maintaining alertness.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday

Ability to Relocate:

  • Apopka, FL 32703: Relocate before starting work (Required)
