A Brief Overview
Under general supervision, resolves more complex patient accounts
What you will do

  • Insurance Claims Follow Up - reviews more complex system work queues, insurance contracts, and other reports to identify third-party (insurance) accounts receivable balances and collect expected amounts due.
  • Meets production and quality requirements
  • Provides excellent customer service
  • Completes annual mandatory educational requirements
  • Other duties as assigned

Education Qualifications

  • High School Diploma / GED Required

Experience Qualifications

  • At least three (3) years experience in Healthcare Collections Required
  • At least four (4) years in Healthcare Collections Preferred

Skills and Abilities

  • Excellent attention to detail, organized and computer skills, professionalism.
  • Good working knowledge of third party insurance and public assistance programs.
