The Instrument / Sterile Processing Technician Certified is an essential role in patient safety and infection control by ensuring surgical instruments, endoscopes and patient care equipment is decontaminated, reprocessed, and maintained.

The Certified Technician operates several types of surgical instrument sterilizers and decontamination equipment.
