Job Overview

The Associate IT Project Manager manages projects that are small in scope while learning and applying project management best practices and internal processes.

Additional Information

Department: IT PMO

Hours per week: 40, eligible for benefits

Shift: Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm, work hours may vary due to department needs. Depending on project 'go live' need, this position may have some weekend/holiday/on-call requirements.

*This is a hybrid position

Qualifications

EDUCATION - Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, computer science, or a directly related field.

EQUIVALENCY - In lieu of bachelor's degree, four years of professional experience will substitute.

Previous healthcare industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

POPULATION SPECIFIC CARENo direct patient care.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSAn employee in this position may be called upon to do any or all of the following essential functions. These examples do not include all of the functions which the employee may be expected to perform.

1. Maintains project plans, which outline the objectives of the project, scope of work, and project elements; coordinates and implements changes to project deliverables, resources, timelines, and/or budgets.

2. Coordinates project activities to include scheduling and conducting meetings and maintains a communications plan for project.

3. Monitors project budgets, which includes tracking expenditures and preparing reports detailing the status of the project budget; monitors project performance and other metrics required to ensure project goals and objectives are being met.

4. Assists with risk and cost-benefit analyses and participates in the management of risk associated with projects; assists with the implementation of changes to project deliverables, resources, timelines, or budget.

5. Performs project closure activities by compiling metrics related to project success, project attributes, individual productivity, and adherence to defined processes.

6. Participates in the design, implementation, and evaluation of project management processes and templates.

7. Provides administrative support to senior or professional level project managers.

Communications: Contacts with the team members where factual information relative to the organization or its functions are received, relayed, or a service rendered according to established procedures or instructions.

Supervision Received: Under close supervision, the employee receives training to develop skills and abilities in a specific line of work or general occupational area.Work product is subject to close, continuous inspection.

Salary Information

Annual Salary Range (Based on 40 hours worked per week): $76,368.20 to $114,552.29
Hourly Salary Range: $36.72 to $55.07
