What You'll Do:
Performs as a partner within the care management team under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse. Performs delegated nursing tasks for which competence is demonstrated through the Care Partner skills checklist. Is oriented and regularly works in multiple patient care areas with diverse patient populations, staff and physicians. Floats primarily among the inpatient units; Floats to other areas as requested within scope of verified competencies.

Unit Description: West 11 is a 24-bed acute care unit. Nurses on this unit cares for medical patients. Some of the main diagnoses include gastroenterology, endocrine/diabetes, cystic fibrosis, pulmonary and adolescent eating disorders, in addition to other general medical diagnoses.
