Job Summary

* Pharmacy Technician Coordinator is responsible for assisting with the training of staff and associated tasks.

* Completes assignments deemed by Pharmacy Leadership, along with drug preparation, storage, distribution, and inventory within a variety of pharmacy environments.

* Provides advanced service in at least two specific areas of scheduling, training, or other staff development roles.

Education and/or Experience

* High School diploma or equivalent required.

* Two years in a pharmacy technician experience.

* Completion of an ASHP accredited technician program preferred.

* Certified as a pharmacy technician by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) required.

* Registration with the South Dakota Board of Pharmacy required within 30 days of employment.

Work Schedule

* Monday - Friday; 80 hours 2 weeks

* Varied shifts

* Occasional weekend

* Occasional holiday

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

* $20.00 - $28.75 per hour
