At-Will Employment
You are free to terminate your employment with the Children’s Home of Stockton at any time, with or without a reason, and the Children’s Home of Stockton has the right to terminate your employment or the employment of others at any time, with or without a reason. Although the Children’s Home of Stockton may choose to terminate employment for cause, cause is not required. This is called “at will” employment.
The Catalyst Transition Age Youth shelter program is funded by a governmental program. Continued employment is contingent upon continued receipt of those funds.
Description:
Provide guidance, training, coaching and mentoring to youth in day-to-day living and independence skills that include meal preparation, laundry training, housekeeping skills, education resources, job search and resume, and assisting youth with transition to independence case plans. Supervise youth onsite at TAY shelters with a mixed gender population. Be an active and positive member of the case management team. Active participation and assigned TAY program activities and meetings as required. Maintain a professional attitude with youth and co-workers, follow and enforce agency rules.
